Learning ways to Stop the Bleed can be lifesaving, as the single biggest cause of preventable death from traumatic injury is bleeding. In this class, you'll learn theory about bleeding control and get hands-on training to help slow or stop life-threatening hemorrhaging until emergency medical services arrive. Stop the Bleed, an education initiative of the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma, is a community outreach program of Desert Care Network.
