Freshstart is a four-week smoking cessation class written by the American Cancer Society. Participants will learn about the benefits of quitting, strategies for quitting and will formulate a personal quit plan. A set quit date is encouraged while the class is meeting to get the benefit of the group support. A certificate of completion, for insurance purposes, is given after all four classes are completed. Classes are cancelled if a minimum number of participants do not sign up and attend.
The class is offered in person, via WebEx or a combination of the two. Please enroll here if you are interested in attending in person or online.
