Event Description:

This FREE family-friendly event will offer interactive safety booths with information about fire safety, water safety, home safety, bicycle safety, pet safety, sleep safety, pedestrian safety and medication safety. Hospital staff will be on-site to answer questions about smoking cessation and prevention, provide hands-only CPR and first aid demonstrations, along with our "Ask the Pediatrician" table. Free bicycle helmet fittings will also be offered.
The Safe Kid's Day event will be set in the new Crown Point YMCA gymnasium so families will see the beautiful new amenities that the new addition provides.
Entertainment for the Kids:
- Rockin' with Leonardo - Interactive concert of music and movement
- BeeGiggles balloon twisting, face painting, temporary tattoos and magic stage performances
- Gary the Railcat - Gary Railcat's baseball mascot
- Chic-Fil-A "Cow" mascot
Also on exhibit will be the Crown Point Library, Information on YMCA Summer Camp Programs, ID Cards issues by the County Sheriff, Dental Care and Tobacco Cessation and Prevention.
The day will feature door prizes, giveaways and snacks.
